Are all the weddings supposed to start planning after the proposal from your love one?
It doesn't sound romantic at all but actually, it wasn't the case for us.
The wedding, it has been long over due in our parents point of view.
It was more important we set the date whether we like it or not.
Both of our parents has been wished so long we become a husband and wife.
It sounds horrible and a very un-romantic but it was reality for us.
We decided to set the date (finally) on one day in September 2016. I don't remember the day much but we discussed about the wedding in the Mr.'s car while we headed back to home from somewhere around Essex. I remember we were on the M11 near the Stansted airport.
Anyway, our stories are not that romantic as I hoped for but Mr. did his best to make the proposal as romantic & surprise as possible.
He asked me to go to an exhibition of one of his friend with him.
I was told it will be near Royal Albert Hall on 3rd of August.
On the day, we arrived near Kensington palace and he suddenly said the exhibition held at RAH. I didn't mind because I always wanted to go Royal Albert Hall.
He said his friend come out with tickets for the exhibition soon so we queued.
I had absolutely no idea whatsoever.
When we approached security, Mr. took out the ticket from the pocket and he said it's surprise gift for me. First, I wasn't sure what happened and then I thought he surprise me because I have been in stress so much to prepare the upcoming wedding.
I am fan of classical music and he knows that very well.
Once I was teenager I wished I want to make career in classical music. I wanted to be professional vocalist. I still think I trained hard but I guess I don't have
From the shock of failure so far, I don't sing anymore.
However, I still love classical music.
Royal Albert Hall was magical. I have always wanted to come here but never had a chance.
The music was started and I loved it!
I was so happy and emotional.
After concert finished, Mr. ask to me to marry him with lovely ring.
He wasn't on the knee as I imagined but it is okay. :)
And
I said 'Yes!'.
(Maybe, it was too late the say 'No', wasn't it? lol)
I love the music and all the experience at RAH.
We always remind the day every time we hear it on Classic FM.
After all, I just happy that RAH is the special place for me since.
