D -1

J and I prepared the wedding about a year. We changed the date once with couple of reasons.

10 days before the wedding, my family arrived in London. And groom's family came in 5 days before the day.
It was hard to have our own time.

Somehow the time had come.

It was a very much last minute decision that I booked the room at Cliveden the day before the wedding.
I wanted to spend the day only with mum.

Mum looked fine in the photo but she wasn't feeling well.
But it was a good decision that mum and I spend the entire day before the wedding.

It was chilly and cloudy.

After I sorted everything in the room, we went to have a look around Cliveden, together.

Of course, mum loved the place.

After we looked around the house, Mum and I walked the garden with K&L.

I lost Kiki's lead while we walk. We walked back to find it because there was no one around.
I thought it'd be easily spotted because it is bright red colour.
But we couldn't find it. I really don't know how I lost it. It is still mystery!
It sounds not a big deal but this... made many things go wrong.

Then, we came back to the room.
We did couple of things together that I'd forgot to do or left it until last minutes.

I wish I'd have my own time but I am glad I spend day with mum.

I cancelled the dinner reservation because she had to be in strict diet.
So she'd have a proper cheating day at least in her daughter's wedding.
Mum brought the dinner for both of us and we had it at the room.

Mum went to bed earlier then I expected. I had a bath and then I tried to relax.
I spent about whole year planning and preparing the wedding almost alone but soon, I'd found I missed something at home and it was too late.
It's the small box with my bridal dressing gown and K&L's special made collars and leads was left out.
Soon headache's started to kick in. There was no way to get painkiller since the hotel don't provide one.
I had to compromise and luckily, I had some ideas.
I really really tried hard to forget about it. I went to bed and tried to sleep.

Unfortunately I couldn't sleep well. But I had to be okay.
I really didn't want to be the horrible annoying bride.

I woke up earlier than I hoped and stayed in the bed & playing with Lilly.
Mum woke up a little bit later and I ordered the breakfast for her.

I don't usually do breakfast so I just had a coffee.

Soon, I'd found out it was raining.
Yes, it had started badly and it got worse.

I got a several phone calls and everyone said sorry.
It's not how I wanted but what can I do?
I tried to positive and happy.

Mum & I moved to my bridal room about noon.
It was still raining. I planned to walk with K&L before the preparation.

Yes, firstly, I couldn't walk K&L.

The room, Lady Astor was gorgeous.

I tried to book this room but it was already booked.
I wish the room was available so mum can a bit relaxed on wedding day!
She was too excited and it didn't help me much.

What a day!

Next post will be the wedding day, finally.
Actually it's more than 2 years ago but I remember most of it.
I am more than happy to share my wedding photo by the gorgeous David Jenkins
