This post has been long overdue.
June, we just felt summer was around corner.
Kiki and Lilly is 7 years old and I thought I know the life with living with dogs.
But always unexpected things comes up in the life.
First beach time in 2017.
I knew we wouldn't have time to enjoy the summer because of the upcoming wedding, I would like to enjoy the summer as much as possible when we have a spare time.
We again had a lovely time in the beach of Reculver.
Preparing meal for K&L is just ritual for me.
Nothing special, we just share what I eat.
The treats that they love!
I spotted something was not normal on Kiki's upper lips.
It looked like the infection. It has been never happened before.
I sometimes think how an earth Kiki is never infected because she put her muzzle into everything on the street. It is not the behaviour that smell it she honestly put it in what she want to smell it.
I took care of it with witch hazel and medical level of Manuka honey.
The infection was in muzzle so she could lick the gels or ointment so I decided to use edible remedies. She got better in a week.
I never thought or worried about bee stings so far.
It was first time Lilly stung by bees and she actually cried out loud.
When it happened, I thought it is leg. I carried Lilly because she was in pain.
She started to calm down and gave me signs where the pain come from.
And thankfully, we found the sting.
Again, it has never been happened before and Lilly stung twice in this summer.
What an experience!
Mr. & I did definitely less panicked second time.
We look for the sting as fast as possible we can and remove it quickly.
And your saliva will help to reduce the pain in the area.
The lesson is that try to avoid to go near the clover flowers in the lawn.
Apart from some new episodes in companion life, K&L is happy and health.
They enjoyed breeze from the sea in the Tankerton beach.
Lilly was having a good hair day!
