My LCHF diet in July is just fine. I wasn't naughty like last previous couple of month.
To look back, I have had sea food more than eat meat or poultry in July.
I have been East Sussex so I popped in farm shop to buy the Hinxden diary.
My morning cream coffee was heaven for a few days.
Monthly Vegetable Oils
And animal fat for the week.
I was addicted the fried chicken in lard.
It doesn't need batter so it is a perfect for Ketogenic diet. But the part has to be thigh.
This needs to slightly over-cook outside of meat + skin in hight heat for the extra crispy.
Chicken wing in lard is also great!!!
I visited Italian deli in Greenwich. They don't sell Lardo so I bought Guanciale.
Fried aubergine in Guanciale is delicious!
I hate to cook in hot day.
I have had salads for the meal with cure salmon.
Just smoked salmon for really lazy day!
No heat days continue...
And great genuine British summer weather came back so I need hot soup.

I like pan fried fish and I ate a lot when I was in S Korea. The fishes a far from cod, seabags or markers aka the popular fishes, are hard to get in UK so I haven't had much when I live here.
But since a big Chinese cash and carry market near the our place, we can get verities fresh fishes in the market. So I enjoy pan fried fish as many as possible.
I know there are lots of bones in whole fish but it is okay we are used it.
We can sort it out with our delicate chopstick skill!!

I just asked two coconut oil fried egg with cream coffee on one Sunday morning in July.
He took almost half an hour to make it and... I don't know what to say...
One Olive oil fried egg and two poached eggs.
I like poached eggs to but I wanted fried egg on that morning.
I guess he was too enthusiastic!
'Strawberries and Cream' is essential in British summer for either snacks or dessert.
The evil WALKERS launched wasabi flavour crisps.
Obviously I tried it and sadly it was so good...
I have tried my best to avoid potato crisps but nothing has been worked.
Chorizo crisps.

I bought big bag of coconut chips and cooked in the oven to crispier!
Texture was okay but it still cannot substitute the mighty potato crisps.
And the fast.
I did an annual fasting on July in 2017. I have done the 4-5 days fast once a year since 2012.
It is once a year but it is always not easy. I feel generally fine on physically but mentally it is obviously hard. I am not that hungry and feel okay in front of foods. I don't feel to eat at all I even cook when I am in the mood.
I did just only 2 days in this time. I wasn't feeling well from day 2 so I started to eat homemade chicken broth to break fast. Two days are short time to change the habit and feel positivities of fasting. But I didn't feel to continue at that time and I think it was right decision. Two days fasting doesn't really need to process to break the fast but I did it anyway.
I got ketone meter the day after 2 days fasting and 3 days of recovering diet.
My ketone level looks okay after the fasting and recovering process.
