It has been 9 month in Ketogenic diet.
I have experienced pro and cons from this diet and I still stick with it. The most positive things was weight loss but the lowest weight of my adult life is a very hard to be maintained. The weight just bound back to the starting point as soon as my eating habit comes back. I do not have eating disorder but sometimes I tend to eat too much until I feel a very uncomfortable.
In June, I tried to approach in different way.
I consume fat as much as I can in the morning and have an adequate amount of protein and a bit more generous carbohydrate than before for dinner.
It seems to work for maintain the weight although I eat carbohydrate more than before.
However, it is not helping for loss the recent gain weight.
I am happy my body at the moment but to be honest, I want more lean for my special day.
So I guess I will try to lose some more weight until September.
The first two weeks on June was warmer than usual so I needed cold coffee even in the morning.
I tend to eat less butter but more olive oil on last month and I came back to butter on June.
I didn't know I can buy a portion of coconut oil in the supermarket. I found it in ASDA.
It is a definitely very convenience but I couldn't find any information about it is weather a cold-pressured and an extra virgin coconut oil or not. So I guess it is not so I will not buy it again and I will just go for Holland & Barrett's coconut oil.
This was how I consume most of fat intake a day.
First, I didn't know how much fat in the my bulletproof coffee about week and later, I knew it contains about 150g of fat in one cup! Once I knew how much fat in, I reduced coconut oil about 15g.
It really full my stomach and I sometimes even couldn't finish. You won't feel to eat until very late afternoon.
Stir the mixture well and melt all the oil then pour the coffee then add 100ml of double cream.
For being lazy, I again cook pressure-cooked pork has been mostly my main meal for dinner.
But I can say it is a delicious weather hot or cold.
Plenty of fat for dinner as well.
I naturally choose Ketogenic friendly food for most of my meals and that's why I reduce some fat in my coffee. Otherwise I eat fat excessively so it must be leads more fat to be stored in my body.
Beef patty is so simple to cook so I feel it is just like ready meal.
I have tried bunless burger with leftover beef patty at home. It was a delicious!
I haven't tried this before because bunless burger at five guys was very disappointed.
So in summer, Sonata from Angus arrived in the shelves and I love it.
Korean spicy cod soup.
Because of lovely weather and also it was hot enough to visit beach on June.
While I stand firm with my LCHF diet even day out, Mr. enjoyed the instant noodle just next to me.
And the another day out, while I enjoyed lardo with glass of wine, he enjoyed Giacobazzi's mozzarella & tomato sandwich which used to our favourite.
I guess the reason I have kept going with Ketogenic diet is because it is allowed to drink wine.
I cannot imagine without a good bottle of wine on the weekend.
