My Ketogenic Lifestyle


I think I am getting to resolve my lifestyle in LCHF.
This diet plan have been struggled a bit on last couple of weeks because of heart burn, sudden rise of heart rate and headache which are all common side effect. It wasn't that serious and I knew the symptoms so I recovered well from the side effects. So I'd keep it up and I now am much stable.

Now I know my limitation of fat consumptions without suffering from heart burn or acid reflex.
Here, I share what I eat for Low Carb High Fat diet in this post.



#Coffee



I don't drink bulletproof coffee. It makes me suffer a really bad acid reflex.
So, I choose to drink coffee with double cream.




I love coffee but I mostly drink only a cup of coffee in the morning. 






#Fat



I try to use animal fat as much as I can in my cooking.
Check always 'best before' before you buy or use it.



Cutting the fat in portion is made my life easier.
I put my small knife in hot water and cut the block into the portion size.









#Snack


I do snacking between the meals or after meal if I feel like to eat more.
However, I always drink water or herbal tea before I start snacking.


Nuts makes me satisfying craving for the crunch texture. It is not as much crunch as bag of crisps but it has  its own texture and I like it.




Oh my cheese! 

I do like cheese but I try not to eat much because it contains a lot of fat. But now I aim to eat more fat so cheese is the best. 

Applewood smoked cheddar is absolute solution for my crisps craving. 
Brie has been always my favourites.



And the chocolate!
I love dark chocolate and my choice has been 85% since I found Lindt collection.

So, no problems for me.  

But this time I have found 100% cocoa and it taste like ash!
I don't it on its own anymore but I found a perfect way to eat it!






#Meals


Pork belly is a very good choice of meat if you are in LCFH diet.

I fried it in the bit of butter or lard. After fried pork belly, there will be excess fat in the pan. Put in vegetable in pan and fry with the excess fat in the pan. The vegi will absorb the fat so you can eat all. I chose onion, aubergine or any kind of cabbages.



The leftover fat absolved vegi can be used for the omelet for the breakfast in next morning.



But after tried this several time, I found out it made me feel so bloated and uncomfortable. Therefore, I avoid to have the fat absolved vegi on my meal.





Korean beef and seaweed stew is also a good meal for Ketogenic diet, too.





 Obviously, I try to eat more green vegetable which is perfect for LCHF diet.




Lard fried kale and egg.

Every time I cook with lard, K&L look like this. 
It can't be more sad than this.



So I made same one without the salt. 
Normally Kiki pick out the kale and left in the bowl but this time she cleared it. Wow...






Chicken thigh fried in butter.
Lazy leaf lettuce and avocado with good extra virgin olive oil.

And good dry wine.







Pan fried beef with cream and butter sauce.





So now, I don't try to eat too much fat. It makes me sick.
I prefer to choose fattier or the fattiest part of meat or poetry. 
I don't afraid fat any more. So I put a generous amount of fat when I cook. I enjoy fat and all kind of good natural oil.




#Rewards

I am BERRY very happy with the 100% cocoa sprinkles. 
It's now my kinda icing on the cake now.




Absolutely delicious!
It doesn't get better than this.

You lose your weight to eat cream and cheese, oh my world!

I have managed to buy 'Ketostix' yesterday. 
I tested today in the morning and 
I am very much in Ketosis at the moment.
