Lilly started to wait Mr. after the phone call.
We decided to have a Chi-Maek night on Friday dinner.
Chi-Maek is shorten words Fried-Chicken and Beer (Meak-ju in S.Korean).
I don't cook deep-fried meal much at home. Because, it is too much work to do after the cooking. Oil is everywhere and left over oil always made me annoyed. And I hate the smell of home become the fish and chips shop after cooking.
But I guess I sorted out one of the problems . We fry in the garden.
So we did it.
This is once fried thigh chicken pieces. If you want to crispy fried chicken, you have to fry it twice. Second time has to be in higher temp.
While Mr. fried the chicken, K&L had one leg each for dinner.
Voila!
It is done.
Twice deep-fried chicken.
It had to make sure remove excess oil completely.
We tended to have Chi-Maek night but it turned out Mr. wanted to drink coke only and me, preferred white wine on that day.
And August normal daily photos.
We had a 'Street Toast' Sunday Brunch.
It's called Street Toast in S.Korea. It is a very popular menu on the street food market in S.Korea.
Very simple and tasty! Click here for the recipe.
Harvested the potatoes from the garden.
Found a perfect mackerel for a pan-fried.
Sainsbury's lightly smoked mackerel.
It doesn't need any preparation before cook it.
Kiki loves mackerel or she is just excited that I cook something in the garden.
We went Seven Sisters for the first time.
I can see Beachy Head from there. It is funny that I always think Seven Sisters is much further away. If I'd known the Seven Sisters is just 10 mins away from Beachy Head by drive I'd come here with D.
I asked Mr. what he want to eat in this weekend.
He said, 'Slow-cooked spicy chicken broth'.
And I immediately regretted asking him choose the menu. hahahah
