I had a lovely brunch at OZONE coffee roaster on Saturday. We walked around an eerie quite back street of central London. We came back to home before starting FA cup final. I am not the fan of both of team but I'd miss it for one of big events in football (FIY, I am a Gunner). I just thought kick off was 3 o'clock but it was 5. I had 2 hours to kill so I started to make K&L's treat.
Meatball Crunch
Very simple and K&L die for this.
- 40-50g Vegetable - chose whatever dogs can eat.
- 80g Meat - minced beef, turkey or lamb
- 2t brown rice flour (any flour is fine but avoid wheat)
- 2T Egg (not essential)
You don't have to measure exactly.
just make sure the mixture has a decent consistency for shapes.
Choose Shape and size whatever you want. I guess it is more likely decided by your dog's size.
Put it 100°C pre-heated oven for 40 minutes to an hour.
Leave the treats in the oven until oven is completely cooled.
It takes about 1-2 hours and it gives crunch texture.
I normally leave in oven over night.
I make sure it's dried outside so I can pick it up without grease on my fingers.
Kiki has been sleepless to hang around kitchen.
So, I gave her some hint what is going on.
While the meatball crunch in the oven I made Tonkatsu and hamburger stake for next week dinner. Both of them can keep in the fridge about 3 days once you made it and also can be frozen.
Mr. came to kitchen with saw to cut the lamb bone half for K&L's weekly treat. We both work hard for K&L, hahahah.
I took it out after finish the FA cup final and both my doggies couldn't sleep well because they could smell something very very tasty.

I ate before K&L had to make sure it is well dried and crunch.
It is perfectly okay to eat because I made it and I know what's in it!
If there is with some seasoning, it is a good snack for kids as well.
But if it is for human don't leave it in the oven until it is cooled. Just sever when it is hot!
This is what K&L die for it.
They both are normally - almost absolute - for the wait but with this on the floor level, they become wild. However, if it is on my hand, everything in 100%. I don't have to recall them in the park because they keep eyes on me all the time. LOL
We had the Tonkatsu for dinner.
Delicious! Crunch outside and juicy and soft inside.
Definitely, worth to make it at home!
