Friend of Mine (strictly speaking friend of Mr.) visit my place to sleep over while visiting London.
And I was treated very well with lots of bars of SWISS Chocolate!

Today is Lunar New Year aka Chinese New Year. We, South Korean, do celebrate this day as well.
It is second biggest holiday in South Korean (The biggest one is Korean Thanks Giving Day)
All the family gather and having celebration meal together just like Christmas. I do remember my beloved granny cooked my favourite food and also other food which are one of each of her grand children's favourite. This year especially I do miss my grandma very much. So I decided to cook one of the her best.
Fried squid and prawn
I have never cooked it before but I do remember how she did it. And also I do remember when she put battered squid into hot oil, she does her signature expression with her lips and we have made fun of it!
This is must have food on new year's day.
steamed rice cake and mandoo(dumpling) in soup.
I use fish stock in this.
And bake special treat for Kiki&Lilly on the afternoon.
They obviously LOVE it!

I took a picture for my grandma who always say hello to Kiki&Lilly on Skype. They wore traditional Korean dress called Hanbok. You might seen on paw pageant 2014 when Lilly was won 2nd place.
Finish today with Franco Manca's pizza and glass of red wine.
