MY 2013 CHRISTMAS DAY

Christmas is 24hour only once a year.
It can be very special or it can be just one of the normal days.

I try not to make a big deal but everything makes me exited.
And again I made it very big deal and a special day for me and J.

 WAKE UP! WAKE UP!
IT IS CHRISTMAS!!!

I went to bed very late on Christmas eve because I skyped with mom until very late.

Put the gammon in cold water for remove excess saltiness

Gammon is the menu for this Christmas lunch.

Prepared breakfast for pancake and special Christmas syrup

We had breakfast in the bed today!

We normally have pancake for breakfast on Sunday morning and we usually have it with strawberry or blueberry syrup but today is special so I make very Christmassy syrup.

I love it but J didn't like it.
Oh boy!

 Picking Brussel sprout isn't easy!!

The purple one looks prettier...and tastier.

Lilly was very interested in it when I picked that so I just gave the stalk for fun...
But she was seriously wanting to eat all of it!!

(Don't worry! I didn't give it to her LOL)

Started to prepare The Christmas Lunch
Boil the gammon for 15 mins and cook it in the oven for 50 mins.

Yeah!! It is ready!!

It was Delicious
Actually, it was the first time I cooked gammon!

Kiki and Lilly had a pig's ear for Christmas treats.
It has been a long time they haven't had it as I have been too lazy to make it for them.

Never buy it from the supermarket because of many reasons.
It is super easy to make it. Ask your butcher or go to big Asian market to buy it.

Chuck it in the oven for 4-5 hours at very low temp.

And voilà! it is done and your dogs will love it!!!!

After the meal, we went for a walk.
It was proper crisp winter day and it was very Chrismassy.

Obviously, it was very cold...I couldn't feel my ear.
Mulled Apple Juice was perfect!

I am now blogging and Christmas is just around one and a half hour left.
It is the wonderful day of the year and I am already looking forward to next year!

 How was your Christmas day??
