I often use Doggity (one of my favorite apps) to find a dog friendly place but there isn't much on it.
There is the number of places in around Bermonsey but there are very few in Greenwich, Blackheath and Woolwich area.
Friend of mine and I have arranged to meet in Woolwich and she wanted to try a new cafe near the Woolwich arsenal station. I called them to ask I could take the dog with me before I went to there.
The cafe is called The Cornerstone Cafe and it is dog friendly!
Kiki and I walked to the Woolwich Royal from home. It took around an hour to walk there. It is essential to make your dog tired (if your dog is not a naturally calm dog), before going to a public place as tired dogs are calmer.
It was a nice sunny day so we were happy to walk there anyway.
In Woolwich common
Woolwich Royal is developing and I am so excited about this place.
The cafe takes around 3mins walk from the Woolwich arsenal station.
I did love their glass ceiling. It was bright and sunny inside the cafe!
It is obviously dog friendly!!
The staff is very friendly and kind and they love dogs!!!
They don't mind dogs are on the leash or not. Kiki was nice and calm because when she is put her coat or jumper or whatever on, she becomes calm dog!
It is actually the only way I can take her with me to the cafe or a busy place. With her coat on, I can talk to people and eat, otherwise I have to correct her to sit or down all day.
Yes! Kiki is naughty and she is JRT!!
They are selling locally produced preserves and many on their corner shelf.
Kiki nicely sat under the table while I enjoyed talking to my friend. Time to time, she got an attention and cuddles.
Ordered flat white and it was nice. Next time I will have food as all food is house made.
It was very nice to visit there and will definitely visit again.
There are lots of things (Jazz evening, etc.) going on so you can call them or visit them to ask more details.
